Deans' Halls

If you are a Trustee Scholar, a Presidential Scholar, a Dean's scholar or in USC's Thematic or Resident Honors Program, you are eligible to become a part of this interesting community. Residents come from all over the country and from all academic majors. If you are eligible for Deans' Halls, apply early to avoid the rush. A limited number of spaces are available and are usually filled with students who apply after June 16th. A variety of activities bring residents together, such as making gingerbread houses and going to theme parks.

You will begin to develop relationships with faculty from your first day, as a faculty fellow will be your neighbor. Writing Professor Scott Smith hosts study breaks in his apartment on the first floor of Trojan Hall. In addition, he hosts book clubs and does Jazz at the LACMA. He is a pretty cool guy.

Deans' Halls have a record of producing leaders. Trojan and Marks have been home to more USC campus senators, student government officers, members of honors societies, club leaders, Resident Advisors, and award recipients than any other residence hall. We also put out a lot of Guitar Heros.
